Hands-On Cooking Class

Sun-ripened berries take center stage in this hands-on cooking class.  Colorful, naturally sweet, and bursting with flavor, we’ll dot these summer berries in cakes, tarts, pies and cobblers. You’ll have a new recipe for every event on your calendar.  Don’t worry about the short season, freeze those berries fresh and you’ll have the summer fresh recipes at your fingertips.

Quick and Easy Mixed Berry Dump Cake (seriously, “quick and easy”) showcases a variety of berries and the convenience of a boxed cake mix assembled, baked and topped with vanilla ice cream.

Tarte aux Fraises – borrowed from the French, is a traditional light and refreshing tart with a flaky buttery shell filled with a creamy vanilla custard and adorned with the best summer strawberries for an impressive and delicious confection for any occasion or celebration.

Blueberry Pie with Lattice Crust Dark blue-purple berries bubble through the openings of the buttery lattice crust.   Simple and impressive with every bite which of course includes a generous dollop of vanilla-mascarpone whipped cream.

Mixed Berry Brûlée is another stunning and elegant dessert borrowed from France served as individual portions blending sweet, juicy mixed berries in a creamy custard topped with caramelized sugar crust.  Simply beautiful and beloved.

Tri-Berry Cheesecake Bars for the quick pick-up and take me anywhere dessert everyone needs on repeat.  Indulge in bright berry flavors in a rich, creamy cheesecake batter over a buttery graham cracker crust.  Baked to perfection, this simple dessert is sure to be your new summer fave.

Old Fashioned Berry & Brown Butter Cobbler might just be the dessert that defines summer.  Easy biscuit-like crust features browned butter for extra flavor, topping sweet mixed berries and served warm with vanilla ice cream.  Oh My! (again).
