Hands-On Workshop

We love teaching pasta classes.  We’ll take turns turning the crank of the pasta maker.  This This fun class blends homemade and commercial pasta with summer-fresh ingredients yielding comforting and classic dishes your family and friends will love.  There is something for everyone in the mix!

Pasta Shells with Asparagus, Spring Peas and Fava Beans with Watercress and Prosciutto combines fresh greens with commercial pasta shells in a creamy, dreamy parmesan sauce for a delectable dish.  

Homemade Farfalle Pasta with Grilled Pesto Chicken, Grilled Corn, Avocado and Smoky Bacon is so satisfying and may be served warm or cool – perfect for a patio gathering or picnic when served up in charming Chinese take-out containers.  

Homemade Potato Gnocchi with Fresh Basil Pesto

This classic recipe featuring light and pillowy gnocchi simply tossed with basil pesto enhanced with a hint of fresh mint.  (Perhaps some sun-dried tomatoes too!) This is a side or main dish you’ll keep on repeat.  

 

Shrimp Fra Diavolo with Fresh Fettuccini Another classic Italian American recipe, featuring succulent XL shrimp, cooked in a fiery tomato-based sauce (you control the heat) and rounded out with garlic, white wine and fresh herbs and tossed with tender fresh pasta.  

Pasta Alla Norma The beloved dish from the island of Sicily shows off garden fresh eggplant, fragrant diced tomatoes and basil along with a generous dusting of salty, mild and creamy ricotta salata with you deciding to use freshly made linguini or purchased rigatoni.
